Every FitForge feature, explained

Most fitness app pages list 8 vague bullet points. This page lists the actual features, what they do, and what they cost. No filler.

Pre-built 7-day programs

No program? No problem. Pick beginner, intermediate, or advanced — get a full week of prescribed workouts. Repeat it for 6-8 weeks, then pick another level or rotate to a new 7-day cycle.

  • Pick your level (beginner / intermediate / advanced). FitForge uses three program levels — beginner, intermediate, advanced — chosen at signup or any time from settings. Each level is a 7-day cycle of different workouts. Switch levels any time. The next cycle is the level you picked.
  • Equipment filter (home vs. gym vs. travel). Bodyweight only at home, full barbell at the gym, dumbbells when traveling. The program adapts to what you have.

Macros that match the training day

Push day, pull day, rest day — your meal plan knows which day is which.

  • 7-day meal plan. A complete week of meals generated to match your training intensity. High carb on push day, low carb on rest, high protein on pull day.
  • Macro targets that rotate. No more static "2,000 calories a day" — your macros update daily based on what you're training and how hard.
  • Built-in food database. Common foods pre-logged. Custom foods in 30 seconds. Macro totals update instantly.
  • No more "is this leg day?" confusion. Open the app, see today's workout and today's macros on the same screen.

Streak system (1 freeze day per month)

Streaks that mean something — with one realistic break per month so life happens.

  • Strict by default. Did the workout or didn't. There's no "I did half a workout" or partial credit. That's how streaks become meaningless.
  • 1 freeze day per month, no rollover. Real life happens. You get one freeze day per month to keep your streak when you miss. It doesn't roll over, and you can't bank them — so the streak still means something.
  • Visible to friends. Your streak count shows up on leaderboards and friend profiles. Friendly competition without a feed full of distractions.
  • Resets from 0 are fine. A reset isn't failure. It's data. Most people who hit 90-day streaks have done it 3-4 times before.

Tracking + data

Your data is yours. Track everything, export everything.

  • Workout logger. Sets, reps, weight, RPE. Saved permanently.
  • Meal logs. What you ate, when you ate it. Macro totals per day, per week, per training block.
  • Progress photos (private). Encrypted in transit + at rest. Your photos are visible only to you. GDPR + CCPA compliant.
  • Body measurements. Weight, waist, hips, body fat percentage, custom metrics. Track trends over time.
  • Export to CSV + PDF. One-click export of workouts, meals, measurements, and photos — both CSV and a formatted PDF report. Available to all signed-in users from the /export page.

Social + leaderboard

Friendly competition without the noise of a full social feed.

  • Friends list. Add friends by username. See their streaks, recent workouts, milestones.
  • Leaderboards. Weekly + monthly. Filter by friend group. Optional.
  • No feed, no infinite scroll, no ads. FitForge is a tool, not a social network. Every "social" feature has a specific fitness purpose.

Privacy + ownership

The fitness industry is built on selling you to advertisers. FitForge isn't.

  • No data selling, ever. Your data is not a product. Period. We make money from Pro subscriptions, not your information.
  • Account deletion in 1 click. Settings → Delete account. Everything you put in gets removed. No "are you sure?" loops.
  • Encrypted in transit + at rest. TLS everywhere. Supabase row-level security. Photos are private by default.
  • GDPR + CCPA compliant. We're Canadian-built, Canadian-run. Strict privacy by default.

Platform + access

Browser. That's it. No app store tax, no install step.

  • Web app (any device with a browser). iPhone, Android, iPad, Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebook. Same experience everywhere.
  • Installable (PWA). Add to Home Screen. Looks and feels like a native app — no app store required, no 30% tax.
  • No data lock-in. Export anytime. Cancel anytime, take your data, no followup emails.

What's free vs. paid

The free tier is the full product. Pro unlocks power-user features.

  • Free (forever). Capped at 3 saved workouts, 50 sessions, 30 meal days/mo. Full structured 7-day programs (one cycle per level), full macro tracking, photos, streaks, friends.
  • Pro ($9.99/mo or $79/yr). Unlimited workout + meal logs, advanced analytics (volume trends), priority support. Cancel anytime from Account.
